Story
Hello. Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We're riding across East Anglia on Saturday 24 September.
Every year for over a decade an ever-changing band of cyclists has crossed East Anglia in aid of the Laura Case Trust. It's a wonderful charity that aims to help medical and educational projects both here and abroad. Since the ride began we've raised more than £50,000 for the Trust. Some of that money has funded emergency care and response in Kampala; some built a toilet block in a village hospital. This year, among other things, it's funding peer support for sufferers of Bowel Cancer in the UK.
The Trust is a way of continuing Laura's work in healthcare in both the UK and Africa, and especially in Uganda where she was working when she was killed in a traffic accident in 2007. Details of the Trust's work are at www.thelauracasetrust.org.
The fact that you're here means you know someone who is doing the ride. Please give them the boost they will almost certainly need. East Anglia is not as flat as its reputation suggests. If you fancy it, join us on the day - email benjconnah@hotmail.co.uk for details.
Thanks very much indeed for donating to such a good cause.
