Story
Hello. Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We were planning to ride across East Anglia on Saturday 21 September, but this year we're riding across Kent instead.
Every year for over a decade an ever-changing band of cyclists has crossed East Anglia in aid of the Laura Case Trust. It's a wonderful charity that aims to help medical and educational projects both here and abroad. Since the ride began we've raised more than £35,000 for the Trust. We've used the money to build half a toilet block at a hospital in Uganda, to fund new emergency provision in and around Kampala and all sorts of other things.
The Trust is a way of continuing Laura's work in rural healthcare in Africa, and especially in Uganda where she was working when she was killed in a traffic accident in 2007. Details of the Trust's work are at www.thelauracasetrust.org.
The fact that you're here means you know someone who is doing the ride. Please give them the boost they will almost certainly need. East Anglia is not as flat as its reputation suggests, but Kent is much hillier. If you want to get involved, please do - email benjconnah@hotmail.co.uk for the details.
Thanks very much indeed for donating to such a good cause.
