Acoustic Magic are holding a 24 hour buskathon. We aim to have 24 solid hours of non stop Music. We will run the event like an "open mic night" and invite anyone who would like to perform to come along and play a few tunes. The event will run all through the night from 4:00pm - 4:00pm. over the 8th - 9th of August. People are invited to come and enjoy the music but also to throw money for the musician "busker style" There will be raffles and domino cards on the day. All proceeds to Diabetes UK. On a personal level Diabetes has become part of our lives and is something we have to deal with every day.

Diabetes is a common life-long health condition and more awareness needs to be raised. People who have diabetes need to learn good diabetes care and supported self-management.

People who are undiagnosed need to learn about the signs of diabetes.

Money is also need to help fund studies into a cure for diabetes including development of an artificial pancreas, a vaccine (Type 1 diabetes) and a further understanding of genetic mechanisms, very low-calorie diet (Type 2 diabetes)

Everyone in this country will know of someone with diabetes ( diagnosed or not) we need to help these people to stay healthy.
