Story

Acomb Primary School staff are taking part in the Race for Life and Pretty Muddy events on 4th and 5th July 2015 on York Knavesmire.

We are raising money for Cancer Research UK.  As a school we have experienced the harsh reality of cancer on too many occasions. We have lost our good friend and colleague Amanda Tredgold. Diane lost her dear sister Gail, leaving her nephew Jack without his Mummy. Our former headteacher, Howard Robinson, lost his battle with cancer and leaves a huge void in the lives of his family and friends. Our long serving governor and friend of the school Tony Morrallee sadly passed away last summer.

We want to raise money to make a difference to others and to try and beat cancer.

Please support us in anyway that you can.
