Story
We are raising money for Maggie-Mae's Brighter Future Fund.
For some of us we were lucky enough to work with Maggie-Mae's mummy and this is a charity close to our hearts. We are hoping that we can make a contribution to this fund and keep you up to date with our fundraising efforts along the way.
Here's what GOSH have to say about the research that we are supporting:
"Our research will help pioneer the development of new and kinder treatments for difficult-to-treat childhood cancers. In particular, researchers will focus on developing personalised treatment approaches for high-risk brain cancers, chemotherapy-resistant leukaemia and tumours that have come back after treatment.
A personalised approach will allow doctors to select the most appropriate treatment for each child based on the genetic make-up of their cancer.
GOSH is the largest children’s cancer unit in the UK and has one of the largest group of childhood cancer patients in the world, meaning it’s ideally positioned to carry out the research and implement any findings."
Thank you!
