After the success of the Accenture Workplace Solutions Management Team’s “Back to the Floor” fundraising initiative in 2011, we are once again going back to our roots during October. Yes, once again we will roll up our sleeves and deal with the demands of being an EA, cleaning our offices, managing security, sorting mail and facing those interesting challenges that occur daily across our business. Each member of the Management Team has been randomly allocated to a role and on the day will deal with everything that’s thrown at us. Following your individual votes, you will shortly receive an update on which charity we are supporting this year. We have taken a slightly different approach so as well as supporting one large charity we will also support two smaller organisations. The two smaller charities have been chosen as they are impacted or supported by our Workplace people. For this reason, Back to the Floor 2012 will be fundraising for Cancer Hair Care which is a charity supported by Suzy Brilliant Jack, the UKI Business Travel Services Manager and member of the Management Team. Suzy is currently undergoing treatment for cancer and the Management Team wanted to support her charity in some way. During both her previous and current treatments, Suzy received fantastic support from the registered charity Cancer Hair Care. This charity is solely dedicated to the often overlooked trauma of women, men and children who lose their hair through the treatment they receive fighting this disease whilst providing much needed support and advice on how to cope with hair loss.
