Story
Inca trail in Peru 8th-17th May 2010
Hey everyone! Alzheimer's, and any form of dementia, not only affects the person who is diagnosed but everyone in the family. Its frightening and distressing for those who have the illness and how heartbreaking for their loved ones. In memory of my Father who was robbed of his life from this illness only a few months ago, and for the 750,000+ other people diagnosed with dementia in the UK. I am proud to be taking up this challenge of a lifetime by trekking up to 4,490m, as most of my friends and family know I barley walk to the local shops, if I can go any where in my car I will! Jan 2010 sees the start of my fitness training; I will update my progress on facebook on a regular occasion. Please support the Alzheimer’s society by sponsoring me. My personal target set is £4000 and I will need to reach 80% of this by March 2010. I will pay my own travel cost for the Inca trail in Peru therefore allowing Alzheimer’s Society and the many people diagnosed with dementia to benefit from the full amount raised. Please dig deep and sponsor me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Abs
