Story
Since coming back to work from maternity leave just over 18 months ago I think I’m starting to see how everything can make sense again…maybe.
Being a first time mum in a pandemic was most certainly the biggest curve ball I’ve ever been thrown..coming back to work 14 months later was the second.
I had to learn how to manage my new life and priorities on the job (both a parenting and work) and I definitely lost myself along the way.
Since the beginning of 2023, whilst I don’t have the perfect balance - I have finally managed to find some time to properly prioritise myself again both mentally and physically.
Over the years I have heard about the GroceryAid cycle challenges and they’ve gone in one ear and out of the other - this year, however, I listened.
If I can overcome the challenges that the last 3 years have thrown at me (and everyone else) - surely I can do this..right?
Cycling novice would be a polite description of my current ability.
This cycle will mean a lot more to me than just the challenge of the 404k. Any support you can give me would be massively appreciated.
To help encourage any donations - and to give you the raw reality of what it will take to undertake this challenge..I have set up a social media page..

For me, the girls and the mummies - let’s do this.
