Royal Papworth Charity exists to support the ground-breaking work of Royal Papworth Hospital. With increasing pressures on the NHS, the Charity plays a vital role in ensuring that the Hospital continues to provide the highest standards of care by investing in staff development, improving the Hospital environment for our patients and supporting research into new ways of treating heart and lung disease. Our patients, their families and the staff are at the heart of everything we do, this is all made possible by the generosity of our supporters.

Sadly, my Grandad passed whilst under Royal Papworth's care last January.  He would always tell me to be good or be careful; I am not sure if the charity sky dive is what he had in mind! He always had the wisest of words, and I hope he would be proud of me for putting myself right out of my comfort zone! I want the staff to know how much we appreciated them talking to and caring for him when we weren't allowed into the Hospital to see him. I miss him every day, and will never forget the last time I saw him on the campus. Hopefully the charity can use this money to better things for the patients, their families and staff in and around the hospital.
