Story
In June 2015 at the age of 30 a dear friend David Greaves was diagnosed with the devastating condition Motor Neurone Disease. MND causes progressive muscle weakness and leads to paralysis and a dramatically reduced life expectancy. There is no cure at present.
David and my best friend Philippa married in September 2015 and shortly after embarked on their own challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, raising over £10,000 for the MNDA in the process despite Dave's recent diagnosis.
David is an accomplished athlete having himself completed an Iron Man a couple of years prior to his diagnosis. The man and his fabulous wife are total inspirations of strength, love and determination. We are counting on you- our friends, relatives and colleagues to support us in our quest to stick 2 fingers up 2 MND, support the great work the MNDA currently do for sufferers of the disease, and to one day find a cure.
6 of us from Tui ski's Chamonix are office are running the Beaujolais marathon this Autumn for this fantastic cause, some of us are seasoned runners- and some are certainly more seasoned wine drinkers (Abi, Beccie and Carl)! All your support is enormously appreciated.
