I am running the Great North Run to raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity. 

Last year, I sadly lost my grandad and friend, Stan Randall. During his final weeks, Florence Nightingale hospice provided the most outstanding care to Stan and his family. Stan cherished the hospice nurses and continuously told us that it was like a 5* hotel - and for those of you who knew Stan, he was always jetting off somewhere so that’s a real testament! 

For such a heartbreaking and difficult time, I have fond memories of Florence Nightingale hospice. I can’t thank them enough for what they did for us. 

Any donations go directly to the Charity and allow them to continue to provide the care and holding hand so desperately needed by others in similar situations to Stan.
