My parents went on the holiday of a lifetime in August and September 2022 to tour America for just over 5 weeks. In the final week of their tour my mum celebrated her 62nd birthday. Hours later she was in Washington Hospital and suffered a massive heart attack. She sadly passed away the day after her birthday and my dad had to bring mum home in a way which no one ever should. 

Mum was the person that everyone wanted to sit next to or chat to. She was forever popping round to help with the children or just to ‘see how you are’. Always asking for our safe return wherever we went. 

Mum was just about to settle into the next chapter, like so many others that are taken unexpectedly. She was healthy and her heart condition went undetected so if there’s anything I can do to help mend someone’s heart before it breaks, then I will do just that. The cost of living is tight, but no matter the amount, I am grateful for your support.
