Story
Lack of basic healthcare, water and food shortages, rolling electricity blackouts, and only one barely functioning hospital. That’s the reality for over 120,000 refugees in the largest Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon.
In less than 2 weeks on the 1st of October I will be joining a team of 10 optometrists travelling to Ain al-Hilweh in Lebanon with Jigsaw charity to run desperately needed sight test clinics and provide free spectacles for those Palestinian refugees who need them the most. We will be doing the same for Syrian refugees and hope to help over 500 refugees.
We will also be providing life-saving financial aid to the Maternity and Intensive Care Units at the hospital.
As well as the medical support we will be distributing urgently needed food parcels to those refugee families who need them the most.
Be a part of this amazing initiative. For just £35 you can help provide the Gift of Sight to a Palestinian or Syrian refugee and improve their quality of life.
Every penny counts so give as much or as little as you can.
Please remember to gift aid if you are eligible.
