Story
7 years ago East Cheshire Hospice provided end of life care to my oldest sister as she lost her battle to cancer. The hospice provided above and beyond holistic care for Bella to ensure that she was comfortable and that her wishes/needs were met in her last moments.
Not only do they provide medical and practical support for their patients but they also offer emotional and spiritual support for both the patients and their families. All of which is free of charge but only 17% of the £7,500 needed each day is funded by the government - the rest is donated or fundraised by the local community. Which is why I have committed myself to the 'Lbs 4 £' 12 week challenge. I will be dedicating the next 12 weeks to get fit and healthy whilst raising money for East Cheshire Hospice to ensure future patients get the outstanding end of life care they deserve.
Thank you very much in advance for your support to this fantastic cause. Your donation whether big or small truly means so much! Every single penny donated is very much appreciated and will help make up the remaining 83% of funds not provided by the government so please dig deep where possible.
