Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you will know my dad, Simon, died in March this year. He had lung cancer and was lucky enough to receive fantastic palliative care from the NHS nursing team and from the Macmillan nurses who visited him at home. While cancer research is no doubt crucial, care for those with cancer, and it's life changing nature, is what my dad needed, and Macmillan provided.
I am going to participate in 'The Great South Run' on the 30th October 2011 to raise some money for Macmillan in memory of my dad.
