Story

In Wales, the RNLI has been operating at full capacity since the start of lockdown. Our service has been rescuing people throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and our heroic crews commitment to saving lives at sea has not stopped. Unfortunately, our ability to raise funds through traditional methods has been limited.

The average lifeboat station in Wales costs £155,000 to run and we are going to have a significant shortfall in income this year due to the Coronavirus. We are asking all our friends and communities to donate what they can to keep us running.

From Flint around the coast to Penarth, we will always be there to keep you and your loved ones safe, on our watch, there will be no preventable deaths on Welsh coasts. Please help us fulfil that mission.

For ideas on how to support or get involved please contact nick_evans@rnli.org.uk

Yng Nghymru, mae’r RNLI wedi bod yn gweithredu ar gapasiti llawn ers dechrau’r cyfnod clo. Trwy gydol pandemig y coronafeirws, mae criwiau arwrol yr RNLI wedi ymrwymo i wasanaethu'r cyhoedd trwy achub bywydau ar y mȏr. Er hyn, mae ein gallu i gasglu arian trwy ddulliau traddodiadol wedi bod yn gyfyngedig.

Ar gyfartaledd, mae cost o £155,000 ynglwm ȃg ariannu un gorsaf bad achub yng Nghymru ond rydym yn rhagweld diffygion sylweddol yn yr incwm eleni o ganlyniad i’r coronafeirws. Felly rydym yn gofyn yn garedig i gyfeillion a chymunedau yr RNLI am gyfraniadau er mwyn sicrhau bod gorsafoedd yn gallu parhau yn weithredol.

Ar hyd yr arfordir o Fflint i Fro Morgannwg, byddwn wrth law er mwyn eich cadw chi a’ch anwyliaid yn ddiogel.Ein amcan yw sicrhau nad oes marwolaethau y gallwn eu hatal yn digwydd ar arfordiroedd Cymru.
