Aberdeen Kiltwalk 2022
Campaign by The Kiltwalk (RCN SC042580)
Kiltwalks are vibrant mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and good causes. Every year our physical events bring together Kiltwalkers to iconic Scottish locations.

Story

We are taking on the Aberdeen Kiltwalk to raise funds for a charity close to our hearts. Olivia (Liv) has opened our eyes to what true strength, bravery & determination is with such immense grace. Liv was born with a defect at the base of her skull and was diagnosed with Cholesteatoma in Oct 2016. This is an aggressive, invasive, relentless disease for which there is no cure. In August 2020 her journey under the care of amazing consultants at Glasgow Children’s Hospital began, when Liv’s disease progressed causing major issues in her brain. So far she has undergone 16 surgical procedures at the tender age of only 10. Olivia’s journey continues with a bumpy road ahead and she never fails to inspire us all with her strength, courage, zest for life and she is never without a smile! #belikeliv

Every penny we raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will mean the world to us, to Liv and to GCH. Thank you!
