Story
Hi! I’m taking on the Aberdeen Kiltwalk Mighty Stride (approx 26 miles) to raise funds for the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023.
The World Scout Jamboree is held once every 4 years. This camp is the 25th one of its kind. It is the biggest gathering of people involved in Scouting, and develops international friendship, global awareness and promotes the UN sustainable development goals for climate change.
I am proud to have been selected for Unit 3, the Tartan Tigers, which is a group of 36 young people and 4 adults from across NE Scotland and the Highlands and Islands regions. We will join 3,240 Scouts from across the UK and approximately 50,000 participants from all over the world.
Every penny I raise will be topped up by 50% thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation. Any donation you can spare will mean the world to me and my chosen charity. Thank you! Adam ⚜️
