Aberdeen Taexali's Calcutta Challenge

Aberdeen Taexali's Calcutta Challenge · 7 January 2022
Aberdeen Taexali Rugby Club is an inclusive rugby club based in the North East of Scotland. We love our rugby, but we love our team and our community more. After the success we had last year, we're giving it another go! "The Calcutta Challenge" is in honour of, you guessed it, the Calcutta Cup. The Calcutta Cup is a rugby match that happens every year between England and Scotland. We've challenged each of our teams to "walk" the 502 miles to Twickenham Stadium by getting out and exercising, all before the kick-off of the Calcutta Cup on February 7th.
With 4 teams competing in our challenge (Cirque de Sore Legs, Walk This Gay, 5 Karens from Finance, and Rings of Fire), we are excited to raise some funds and talk about #MilesThatMatter. All funds we raise will be going to the Scottish Association for Mental Health.
