Story
In the village of Ronkeli, Golapgonj, a beautiful green suburb of Sylhet is home to many hundreds of people and it is where my parents came from in Bangladesh.
Within this district there are many people who serve that community whether they work in domestic roles as servants, or as farmers, shopkeepers, rickshaw drivers or simply try to make ends meet through work such as sewing or selling small items.
As a result of the government lockdown in response to contain Covid 19 people are now out of work and unable to feed themselves or their families. They were the really impoverished before and now because of Covid 19 has left them in a desperate state. 😢
The government simply cannot meet the needs of all its people so it lies at the hands of those that Allah is testing to help these people.🤲🏻
This project through YMO is simple, I along with members of my family have taken responsibility to raise funds to purchase rice supplies for the month of Ramadan so that these impoverished people do not starve.
This is an urgent appeal to all my brothers and sisters from the area of Ronkeli and all my friends and colleagues in the UK to please help with whatever you can to reach a potential 1800 people we have identified that we could save from starvation.
PLEASE HELP WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS BY SAT 11th APRIL so we can act in time and thereby we can all join the rewards of our actions as a community.
Love and Peace.
