I've created this page because I'm inspired by the work of READING TO KIDS. READING TO KIDS is a grassroots organization dedicated to inspiring underserved children with a love of reading, thereby enriching their lives and opportunities for success in the future. 

I've had the pleasure of volunteering for READING TO KIDS for the last 3 years, reading with students at elementary schools across LAUSD - many of which have some of lowest literacy rates in the state. I have seen the impact of what providing a safe space for learning and reading in English can have in low-income, predominantly Spanish-speaking communities.
