Story

Hi! My name is Abby Payne, I am a senior Graphic Design student, as well as the Graphic Design Club President at Johnson County Community College. I plan on graduating this spring. With that, I am putting together and participating  in our annual Senior Showcase. The Senior Showcase is where my classmates and I will display our portfolios, network with the creative professional community, and discuss our talents and strengths with potential employers. In the past, the showcase has been very successful in getting our graphic design students jobs in the professional graphic design community. As President, I want to put on the best showcase possible in order to give my classmates and I the perfect environment to exhibit all of our hard work and impress potential employers. Not only that, since my job as President is to coordinate everything for the showcase, I would like to impress employers with my ability to successfully put on such a large and amazing showcase.  So, I need your help. Each participating student is being asked to raise $200 toward our overall goal for this event. The more money donated, the better the showcase. The better the showcase, the more we can help our graphic design students get jobs. We are using crowdfunding as our main fundraiser this year. Please help by donating whatever you can by using the "Give Now" button. It would be amazing if you could share this page with your friends and family. Thank you!
