Triple Negative Breast Cancer Day is the only global event dedicated to raising both awareness and funds exclusively for triple negative breast cancer. 100% of all donations received during March will be dedicated exclusively to TNBC research.

As if my breast cancer diagnosis wasn’t scary enough, then finding out I had a type called triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) evoked many more emotions. TNBC is not caused by hormones; therefore, there is not one specific treatment that works for each case. If you google TNBC, you will find this is an aggressive form and you will also read statistics that I wish never crossed my screen. It was and still is hard when I get reactions from people regarding my breast cancer type. Many people react with “Oy!” or tell me in so many ways that they were/are lucky because theirs was a “better” type. The truth is that there is no good breast cancer, but it frustrates me that TNBC has such a bad reputation. There are many that are thriving years later and there has been much advancement in this area. We need more though. Please help me in raising money so that every woman can one day feel like her cancer is as treatable as the next persons. As I have always said in my journey, “rain on me” and I truly mean that now more than ever!
