I'm taking part in a breath-taking challenge that scares the life out of me as I fear heights & I hate the cold! I'm going to be climbing Iceland's largest mountain! The total walking/ climbing distance is 23 km (14 miles) moving over challenging terrain and crossing crevasses so an expert mountain guide and specialized glacier equipment such as ropes and crampons are required.. There are several fitness tests I need to pass and 2 intense training weekends I am attending.   Arghhh!! And it's going to be freezing! 😁 

This is very personal to me and something I've always wanted to take part in... I want to make in memory of a good friend I sadly lost to cancer, she was the bravest person I have ever known,  I supported her throughout her painful & emotional journey and held her hand to the very end........Cancer affects most of us in life whether it be us personally , a relative or a friend... So please help this cause and sponsor me  to make this something I can remember that made a difference to so many people suffering this disease.
