Youth and Family Services provides programs for youth ages 12-24 in the greater Santa Barbara area. Most of these youth come from low-income families, foster care, or those experiencing abuse or homelessness. We currently have four core programs serving these at-risk youth:
Noah's Anchorage Youth Crisis Shelter is a temporary shelter for youth ages 12-17 providing crisis resolution assistance, counseling for youth and families, resource referral, and 24-hour hotline assistance.
My Home is a program for homeless and former foster youth ages 17-24 that provides housing, basic needs subsidies, intensive case management, clinical counseling, and advocacy, as well as life skills development.
The St. George Youth Center provides bilingual and bicultural afterschool tutoring, counseling, and enrichment activities for teens grades 5-12.
Support and Outreach Services reaches out to youth ages 16-24 on the streets offering basic needs assistance, counseling and case management.
