Each year, hundreds of young people make the decision to commit to a year or two of service with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Send Me to Serve (SMTS) provides the opportunity for Jesuit Volunteers (JVs) to share their decision with friends and family!

Story

This Fall I am going to begin my year as a Jesuit Volunteer (JV) at Mustard Seed School! Mustard Seed offers emergency, temporary schooling to children in transitional housing, experiencing homelessness or in the foster care system. I am so excited to teach and get to know all of the wonderful children I will encounter! I have always loved working with children and am so excited for the opportunities I will have in the upcoming year. Thank you so much for taking some time to learn more about JVC, I cannot wait for my journey to begin!
