Story
In July 2010 I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour at the age of 14 following a fall from my horse. Thanks to the fantastic work of the Brain Tumour Charity and Edinburgh Sick Kids hospital I have had a great recovery. I hope with the money we raise they can continue to research and provide amazing care for those diagnosed with brain tumours.
In 2020 I had hoped to organise a charity ball to mark the 10 year anniversary of surviving my brain tumour. Unfortunately due to COVID19 this was unable to go ahead and with restrictions this year it would not be the event I had hoped to organise. My friends and I are going to walk a Marathon around Dumfries in order to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity. So please dig deep for this amazing charity so they can continue their research to help other survive a brain tumour just like I did!
Please feel to join us on the walk!
