Story
Last year Abbie and I walked over the O2 arena to raise money for Dreamflight. Sadly last September Abbie passed away from an aggressive brain tumor. This year I want to raise money in memory for this outstanding human. She really was the most caring, happy funny, and kind person. For this reason, I think Dreamflight is a perfect charity.
Dreamflight is an amazing charity that takes 192 sick and disabled children from across the UK on a holiday of a lifetime to Orlando, Florida. The difference between Dreamflight and any other holiday is that no parents are allowed! The VIC's (very important children) have the opportunity to discover independence and confidence while being surrounded by medical professionals and volunteers while making memories that will last a lifetime.
In 2017 Abbie went on Dreamflight and she spoke about her experience all the time. Telling me how it changed her life allowing her to embrace other opportunities which without Dreamflight she said she might not have done. She always spoke about how she wanted to give back to Dreamflight and I want to help carry this on.
I would love for another child to be able to experience what changed Abbie's life so much. Please support me, her memory, and Dreamflight.
Thank you ~
