We plan to convert a bus into a mobile sensory unit that can benefit people with autism, our goal is to work with every school in our local community to offer these facilities onsite & bring a sensory unit to any event making it autism-friendly.

Story

Stand Out For Autism would like to purchase a bus to convert into a mobile sensory unit that can benefit people with autism and sensory difficulties.

As well as working with schools, they will be taking the bus to different events such as school fairs. This will offer children who may normally become over stimulated in these places, a safe, quiet place away from noise & crowds. For families with children who struggle with this, this would be an amazing opportunity to actually visit these events, allowing an inclusive day out.

I personally think this is a fantastic way of allowing children who often struggle with events like this, to still be included but with a safe space to retreat to when things are all becoming a bit much.

If you can afford even a pound or two, it would be so appreciated :)
