Story

when our son Ethan was taken ill only a few days after he was born he spent several days in intensive care at Newcastle RVI hospital the sick childrens trust provided us with somewhere to stay close to the hospital till he was moved to a ward, although we live not too far from Newcastle being so close was so important, and we luckily only had to stay a few nights some families are not so lucky who live far away and have to stay longer.

When a child suddenly becomes ill, there's no time to plan. The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that gives families one less thing to worry about by giving them a place to stay, and someone to talk to, free of charge just minutes from their child's bedside. This year The Sick Children's Trust is celebrating 40 years of keeping families together. With the help of so many generous supporters, like our daredevil skydivers, we have helped over 73,000 families since 1982, with a welcoming place to stay when they have really needed it.Afraid of heights but still want to support a good cause?
