I will be running this 10 mile course to raise money for Type 1 Diabetes research.  JDRF work to finding a cure for type 1. 

My 12 year old son Jake was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in December 2009 when he was 10 years old.  He is insulin dependant and has to inject himself 4 times a day.

I am by no means a runner, however, I have commit myself to this run as it is for such a worthy cause.
