Story
My name is Abbey, I am 9yrs old and I want to support GOSH. If you donate £2 that means every mile I ride would be equivalent to just over 1.5 pence per mile towards my charity event. I will do my best x I will post photos as I go along the route so you can see how I am doing.
My brother Callum was very sick when he was 1yrs old. Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) made him better again. The children are strong, but sick and the Hospital needs help to keep up their good work.
I will try my best to cycle from Near the Olympic Stadium in London to Dunwich beach, which is almost 120 miles. I will start on Saturday afternoon and finish Sunday morning. I will stop for breaks along the way. For a 9yr old girl this is an extremely long ride, but I hope you will see how hard I am trying and support me in my effort to support a cause I feel needs supporting.
Every day, on average 618 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference.
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential.
