Story
As Stephen Fry says, 'the mind, like the body, is prone to disease or disorder, and we must end the stigma of mental health problems'. It is true that 1 in 4 adults and 1 in 10 children experience mental health problems every year. The global coronavirus pandemic will further worsen the mental health of many more meaning thousands of people are suffering, some in silence. No one should have to face a mental health problem alone.
Mind is the UK's leading mental health charity and across England and Wales they advise and support anyone experiencing a mental health problem. In addition to that they campaign tirelessly to improve services, raise awareness and promote better understanding of mental health to help bring an end to the stigma.
Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time, and without warning. You or your loved ones. As someone who has suffered with mental health, I know first hand the good that support, understanding and advice can do and I want to help make a difference for those who are suffering or may suffer in the future.
Together we can make a difference. Help us make that difference. Please donate what you can, every donation will make a difference and will not only be appreciated by us and Mind but by those who are suffering.
