Story

We are swimming 5K for @SandsUK (each!) this august.

Aasha: I've been incredibly lucky to have amazing support around me (in a being part of the club no one wants to join sense). I'm doing this wirh my amazing friend Kat Hatton who supported me throughout my own losses. This is a worthy cause to support those who need some extra help during really s*** times.

Kat: Far too many of my friends have been through the terrible experience of losing a child, still birth or miscarriage (my own miscarriage pales in comparison to other people's stories). It's a strange combination of too tragic to comprehend and weird social taboo, which means that getting support can be harder than it should be. Organisations such as SANDS are so important in providing help for parents when their social circles may struggle.
