Story
I am running the 2022 Great North Run because I want to defeat meningitis and septicaemia. This is something very close to my heart as I had meningitis when I was younger. I was on a life support machine for some time and was paralysed from the left side of my body top to bottom with the likelihood being I would loose arms/legs. After a long recovery process and a lot of physio therapy for some time I eventually pulled through. Now I want to give something back to the foundation so they can continue to help other people & carry on life saving research.
