The Folkestone Town Sprucer project, led by Peter Phillips, urgently needs £5,000 by 15th January.
Peter and his team of hardworking volunteers spent the last few weeks smartening up the sea front in time for the 100-year anniversary of Armistice Day. You will have seen the team in their hi-viz jackets at work weeding, cleaning and clearing the paths, pavements and thoroughfares. They are out in all weathers, sprucing up the town for all of us who live in Folkestone and our visitors. This unique scheme relies on private donations and grants to keep going. We need your help to continue this legacy left to the town by the late David Taylor, its founder, who sadly passed away last December.
This Appeal
We need your help to raise £5,000 by 15th January 2019 to keep the Town Sprucer and his team going - while the Sunflower House Charity Trustees develop a new business and funding plan to ensure the schemes long term future. Without these donations the scheme will not be able to continue.
