I cannot imagine what it must be like to be homeless. To not have the comfort of going home to shelter from the weather, and to be able to shut the door to the outside world when you want to. And, above all, to have the safety that being able to lock your door at night can give.

One bad decision can lead to homelessness. Social and economic reasons can lead to homelessness. Worklessness, mental health issues and life chances can lead to homelessness. Homelessness could happen to anyone of us should any of the above become a reality.

For me to give one small moment of time to help raise awareness of those facing uncertainty every day and night often through circumstances out of their control, is the least I can do.
