I plan on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2011 to help raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer’s society which is currently improving the lives of thousands of people throughout the UK.
The Alzheimer’s society provides help and support for carers and people with dementia. I decided to start raising money for this charity soon after my granddad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. His condition has progressively declined and I have seen firsthand how this horrible disease can affect sufferers and all those around them. I want to help stop this fatal disease and improve the quality of life for him and all those affected by it.
My goal is to raise £10,000 for this charity which will make a massive difference to thousands of people throughout the UK and ultimately help find a cure for this disease. If you want to help me reach my target please donate or if you have any suggestions about ways in which I could help reach my £10,000 target please email me at: Aarontball@hotmail.co.uk
If you require more information of the Alzheimer’s society please visit http://alzheimers.org.uk/ or call 0845 300 0336
