Story
Start the year with a good deed and support us. Aanya has inspired her Grandma (Who's had a total hip operation) and her Mum to get up, get active and LEARN how to SWIM. Together, our team, LittleFeetBig Steps will swim 5k throughout the month of March to raise money for GOSH Charity. (That's 200 lengths!). As a team, with our amazing swimming teachers Emma and Chris, and anyone else that wants to help, we will aim to swim the length of the English Channel by the end of April 2022. (21Miles - 1848 laps!! OMG) - Birthday challenge for both Aanya and Darshika.
Can't swim? Nor can we, don't let that stop you. There's Time to learn, do something to help your own heart while helping others!
In 2021 this multigenerational team of Wonder Women each climbed the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa). Jyotsna walked with her crutches, Darshika ran behind Aanya as she led the way zooming off on her bike. Little Aanya learned how to ride her bike and took the challenge to an extreme as she logged the miles/steps on the heights of an actual climbing wall - HarrowWall.
Every day, more than 600 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
