We alleviate poverty and suffering to improve and save lives
Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This August I am hoping to climb the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, to raise money for the orphans robbed of their childhoods by the war in Syria. The UN has described the Syrian conflict as the biggest crisis since World War II. Millions have been affected and are suffering from displacement, hunger, lack of medical facilities and no schooling.
The Zahra Trust Syria Aid mission is working on the ground to provide basic needs to enable survival as well as assistance to help rebuild the lives of those affected by providing housing, medical aid and schooling facilities.
Your support will help motivate me to reach the peak knowing there are so many people that will benefit from your donations. Help me to help them. Their lives will never be completely normal but we can try to bring some normality into their lives. Even one child's smile is worth the effort.
Thank you.
