I am raising money for urgent aid and food-packs for poor families in Iraq who desperately need our help for basic necessities. I plan to travel out there with International Medical Relief Agency to help distribute the much needed aid and food-packs this Ramadan Inshaa Allah. 

Sadly thousands of people across the world are in a position of life and death. Till this day, those that have fled their war torn countries only have the means to barely survive day to day. Thousands of people, including women and children wake up each day not knowing if they will eat today. Thousands of parents still carry the burden of not being able to provide for their families. Thousands of orphans still wonder who will take care of them. IMRA strive to target the most needy and vulnerable. Their aim is to deliver your Zakat and Sadaqa to those that have rights over it. The team came across an elderly lady in Iraq. She was sat alone in a pile of rubble. She was asked, how do you survive day to day? she replied - ''your sadaqa and zakat''. How heart-breaking is this to hear? 

A food-pack costs £60 and feeds a family of 5 for a month - that's £12 to feed one person for a whole month! The food packs will be distributed in Ramadan Inshaa Allah.

I ask you to kindly donate whatever you are able to - every little bit will help someone less fortunate. Sadaqa and Zakaat is accepted. 

Allah offers relief on the Day of Judgement for those who give sadaqa: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Sadaqah extinguishes
sin as water extinguishes fire,” (Hadith, Tirmidhi).
