Story
Thank you for visiting my page!
Some of you will know of the tragic loss of a special friend during my time at university who had been battling a history of eating disorders. Natasha was a bright soul - caring, beautiful and saw the best in everything; she had time for everyone and never failed to make the room smile. Though I didn't get to know her for long enough, the close friendship we shared remains in my heart and it is for this reason that I've decided to run the half marathon in her memory. In honour of Natasha's selflessness and determination, I will be participating in the Great North Run in order to raise money for BEAT, a charity who provide a wonderful service in assisting those suffering from and affected by eating disorders (to find out more about my chosen charity, please see the following link: http://www.b-eat.co.uk./).
Natasha was a popular girl and loved by many, a few years ago during university, myself and a group of girls ran two charity fun runs in order to raise money for BEAT and increase awareness. We successfully raised £8,560.50 and now I ask you to continue to help me support this worthy cause by kindly donating to my page. However big or small, I thank you for your generosity!
