Charlie was a colleague and friend who had MND. I also know Mark Styles, who is my daughter's godfather, who is living with MND.

I am raising money for East Kent Group of the MND Association. They support people with MND, through providing care, equipment, support grants, money for research and raising awareness and campaigning.

MND affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK. Six people are diagnosed with MND a day. Six people die a day from MND. MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and the spinal cord. MND affects people from all communities.

This is my way of supporting everyone with MND and their families.
