Story
With exams out the way I have decided to complete a 15 mile run to fundraise for the Alzheimer's Society. Equivalent to just over a half marathon, I will run from Marlow following the Thames to Windsor. I have chosen to fundraise for the Alzheimer's Society after my Nana was diagnosed with dementia several years ago. Suffering from dementia can strip individuals of their memory, recollection of families and friends, and quality of life. I have chosen to run from Marlow to Windsor as throughout my childhood Nana would regularly take my siblings and I here to feed the ducks and for the changing of the guards, and whilst she has lost much of her memory, she still to this day recalls fond memories in Marlow and Windsor. I would be incredibly grateful for any donation however big or small. I plan to complete this run on Friday the 28th of July, and will keep you updated as to my progress in completing this challenge.
