Paddock Wood Half Marathon 2015 · 29 March 2015 ·

Working with over 11,000 people with a sight impairment in Kent and surrounding areas, we’re one of the largest local sight loss charities in the UK. Our aims are to work to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and help people to live independently.

Story

A colleague, Clive Allon, started a running "club" at work last year so I decided to participate in order to get fit again.  I had been a regular runner but that was numerous chins and years ago :-)

5 work colleagues (Clive, Mark Hazard, Alex Ledger, Stephen House and Jason Skaife) from the "club" are running the London Marathon this year in order to raise funds for the Kent Association for the Blind (KAB).  I decided that probably my marathon days are over but would also like to raise some funds for this excellent charity. They provide a number of fantastic support services that help visually impaired people in Kent to live fulfilled, independent lives.

I would be very grateful if you could donate any sum of money towards this cause and I will update my page again on 29th March after, hopefully, I have completed the half marathon.  Many thanks.
