In September of this year, I shall be running The Morrisons Great North Run in memory of Rachel Blaylock, a wonderful friend to me as well as to many others, who was tragically killed in a road accident on 3rd August 2014. A charitable and generous girl, I know that Rachel would be very pleased to know that so many of her close friends are running in order to raise money for charity. Rachel was a very valued member in my group of friends due to her outgoing, caring and happy nature. As she had planned to do the Great North Run last year, it would be a fitting tribute to carry on all the hard work she had put into running. I shall be running for Macmillan, a charity which is very close to my heart.
