Clough's GNR Raising Awareness for Huntington's Disease

Great North Run 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
Huntington's has a place in my heart, as my wife sadly carries this hereditary disease.
I didn't know anything about the disease until I sadly saw the devastating deterioration of my wife's mam who sadly passed away from the effects of Huntington's. When we decided to raise a family, I was educated further about the devastating neurodegenerative disease. When we planned for children, we made sure the hereditary disease stopped at my wife. Now that our sons are getting older I want to help raise awareness and funding to pursue the best possible care; provide training & advice to families and professionals; and promote research towards better treatment and care, which is exactly what the Huntington's Disease Association supports.
I really do appreciate the time you've taken to come to this page and any money donated would be hugely beneficial to families suffering with Huntington's disease throughout the UK.
