Some of you may know that in my late twenties I had a rather nasty run in with this disease but was lucky enough to live to tell the tale. All of us know someone who was not quite so lucky as I. It is in their memory that I will be running The Royal Parks Half Marathon in October hoping to raise as much as possible for Cancer Research UK. Please dig deep and give what you can, every penny counts in the fight against this disgusting disease.
