Story
Many of you will already know our gorgeous Tallulah was a little poorly last month with what we thought was a stomach bug. Initially it was diagnosed as gastroenteritis, then the first blow with Meningitis, the secondary blow came with bacterial meningitis. An amazing Junior Doctor asked for an MRI as things didn't seem to be adding up. This is when they found the tumor! The very next day a man whom I can only describe as a genius pediatric neurosurgeon removed this grape sized tumor!
I've got to add she is doing great, you would honestly never believe what she's been through already!
The tumor itself was an Ependymoma and usual found at the point when it would have wrapped and knitted itself into the fabric of the person's brain stem.
At only 16 month old she's been accepted for Proton Beam Radiotherapy at the Christie although the UK's accepted minimum age is 18 months.
So from the 4th July she will start her 33 treatment journey at 6½ weeks.
I'm doing this for Tallulah as Richard said "surely you'd do this for Tallulah" after I said he should do it. We need a minimum of £125. It'll be money we'll spent as I'm sure there will be a video of me forevermore on the Internet of me screaming and for The Christie.
