I am running the Great North run this year and raising money for Contact a Family.  My youngest sister has global developmental delays and contact a family were amazing when she was growing up, putting on events and proving support so that she could go to places such as the beach or the park and feel included in society. As well as being a great hub for parents to interact and share similar experiences or receive advice with any problems they are facing. This is a great charity and I know first hand how far there support goes because they have helped my sister, but also because I have been volunteering with them as an events volunteer since I was 15 ~8 years now!  I would love to show my thanks so the charity can go on and help other families with younger children with disabilities. All donations will make a true difference to this charity!

On another note i'm super unfit so this is a real challenge for me so all the donations will be great motivation! As will the free cupcakes I was promised onroute when I originally signed up :)
